Me in a Nutshell!

I was born in Leamington, Ontario on the 25th of March, 1969. I had grown up in southwestern Ontario ( mostly Leamington ) but eventually at the age of 24 i decided to move out west!

After arriving in British Columbia, Canada I moved to Sooke on Vancouver Island with my family then, back to the Lower Mainland a month later to the city of Burnaby, BC. I worked as a Courier Driver for 2 years then, after my youngest son was born my family and I moved to Surrey, BC where i began working as a Gardener/Lawn Care Specialist. I loved being a gardener! Still do! Anyhow, after working and living in Surrey, BC for 6 years and the birth of my daughter, we decided to move to Okotoks, Alberta.

In Alberta, i went back into an old childhood profession ( Janitor! ) for back/health related reasons. 1 year later we decided to move north to Olds, AB where i eventually got a job working with Olds College as a Caretaker 2. I continued to work for Olds College for 8 years and then decided to move back to BC after my ex-wife moved back to Kamloops, BC with my 3 children. I have so far settled in Salmon Arm, British Columbia where I’m only an hours drive away from my children thus facilitating our visits.

I have for the past 6 years, been dabbling in web/website and graphic design in my spare time and as of recently, i have attended a college course in Web/Website Design & SEO. I now own my own web/website design business called “WebScape Design” and i am now ready, willing and able to build standards compliant websites with accessibility, usability and search engine friendliness in mind. I love being a web designer WAY more than a gardener but i still grow a garden every year!

I know there’s some holes in this story, some by accident and some on purpose. All stories have holes but as time go’s on I’ll fill in the blanks with good information and weed out the bad info to the trash!
